Lamborghini Trattori was founded in 1948 by the legendary Ferruccio Lamborghini and was known by the manufacture of military and industrial engines and farm tractors. The company grew quickly and within a few years, the production of the company from 1 unit per week rose to approximately 200 per year. New Italian engines replaced the war surplus units. The adoption of the Fafani Act of 1962 helped Lamborghini Trattori to a quantum leap in quality and scope. The Act provided a subsidy for farmers who bought agricultural machinery built in Italy and allowed Lamborghini Trattori to develop into a legitimate industrial matter. A new plant was opened in 1956, and in 1961-62 the company released the model offered by us, the Lamborghini 2R. This rare model was produced until 1965. In total 1925 copies were produced of the 2R. The offered Trattori is one of the last pieces of the production of its model number. The 2R is powered by a three-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine with 39 HP, with six forward and two reverse speeds. The model offered by us has been admitted on 22.03.1965 and is in excellent condition. The rare tractor had only 2 previous owners. The R2 was completely restored. The body, the mechanics have been overhauled and the electronics restored. (The body has been sand-blasted. The engine was overhauled and runs like new.
