Striking vintage Breitling, ± 60 years old. Ref. no. 63-26 Case is rose-gold-plated (doublé), visible signs of wear. The gold layer has faded on the high, sharp edges + imperfections at the sides. The diameter is 35 mm. Measures 43.3 mm from strap to strap. Movement is the famous Bidynator Breitling (cal. 26) automatic movement with the Felsa 692 calibre as basis. The days can be adjusted by turning the time (to both sides). Has 21 jewels, is gold-plated and spotless... runs beautifully on time... the deviation indicated by the digital testing device is ± 4 sec. per 24 hours. (measured on the digital testing device = snapshot). Champagne-coloured dial with rose gold markers and hands. Still in its original condition and after 60 years... a few dots and patina... guaranteed so no refinish or the like but entirely authentic. Glass is clear and unscratched. Steel original screw back... marked/numbered and with minor signs of having been opened. Comes with a hardly worn black handmade strap of crocodile leather (XL), suited for wrists to a little over 23 cm in circumference.
