Antonin Hlavacek 2 Row Heligonka Button Box Accordion - Slowakije
Up for auction is a 2 row button accordion made in Czechoslovakia by Antonin Hlavacek. My understanding is that this item has been stored in a closet for the last 50 years.
Music Condition: I did get it to make sounds and the buttons appear to be in working order. I have never played a musical instrument so that is about all I can describe about that piece of it.
Physical Condition: Minor wear,There NO missing button keys or fittings. The bellows are not ripped or torn, and I did not feel any air leakage when I tested it. Also the mechanical condition of this piece is very good, no leakings or stuck buttons. Regarding the casing we can talk about near mint condition, 100% complete with covering satin cover blanket inside.
Dimensions: 14” Tall x 7 ¾” Wide x 12 ½” Length
This is a collector piece for display or restoration. While it appears to be in playable condition it should be reconditioned and or tuned.
