Rare vintage classic Radiomatic from 1967, which was placed mainly in French cars such as the Panhard PL, the Peugeot, the Renault 404 and in the Renault types Caravelle and Floride.. Of course, it is also possible to install this radio in other classic cars from the 1960s. This Radiomatic, which is over 50 years old, has Medium wave, Long wave and FM. It can be set to 6v or 12v (currently set at 12v). It has very special controls, with two design knobs (left knob for on/off/volume, right knob for tone control). In the middle of the channel screen is a rotary disc, that serves as a channel search function by pressing and rotating it. Somewhat adjusting this button improves playback/tuning. While testing (indoors), the reception of the number of channels on LW/MW was ‘moderate’ but it was excellent on FM. This special design is beautiful and also has the option to adjust the lighting to a preferred setting (soft/night/moderate/hard/bright), via the black rotary knob next to the chrome channel search screen. Wave indication via light (green is LW, orange is MW and red is FM).
