1910 Jules Richard 'Le Glyphoscope' Type 2 Stereo Camera and Viewer. The camera was manufactured in Paris from 1904, the model on offer being the second of three cameras in the range. The camera is in excellent condition albeit, a cracked viewfinder glass, (see photos). It has a working shutter and two clean lenses. The camera could be converted into a stereo viewer, by simple detaching the shutter mechanism at the front. The camera comes with a number of slide-holders containing the original photographic glass slide, (all fogged!). Also included is the original leather camera case, which holds the camera and slides. Clipped into the lid, I found a piece of paper with handwritten shutter speeds etc, which must be as old as the camera. Of no worth, but an interesting little aside about the original owner from nearly a century ago.
