From the vaults of Graceland comes this rare to the extreme "Elvis Presley Acetate" The offered RCA Custom Records promotional acetate has a label on one side with the typed title "I'm Not The Marrying Kind / Elvis Presley" and further typed notations "45 rpm / No. 2/7/61" with printed "Radio Corporation of America (RCA Provided Technical Services Only)" covered by a purple stamped "W.Q.A.M. MIAMI, FLORIDA" mark. This is a very early advance promotional acetate sent to this Florida radio station before the song on the mini vinyl EP "Follow That Dream" was released on April 1962. The soundtrack, with four songs recorded on July 2, 1961, was issued as an extended play record to coincide with the Follow That Dream movie premiere. The soundtrack did well in the charts at the time and achieved gold and platinum status from RIAA simultaneously in 1992. This promotional acetate has a blank white label except for the purple "W.Q.A.M. MIAMI, FLORIDA" stamp on the reverse and an additional hole, likely from pressing. The acetate is being offered with "Seventeen Savile Row Limited" sheet music for the song. The sheet music measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches (27.94 x 21.59 cm) and the acetate measures 6 3/8 inches (16.19 cm) in diameter. Both are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated. Condition report: Sheet music is in excellent condition with very minor discoloration around edges. Acetate is in very good condition with minor surface scuffs and scratches; the label is stained and discolored which does not affect the visual appeal of the stamps and typed label.
