Antique silver plated EPBM (Electro Plated Britannia Metal) candy box with oval lid, made in England, late 19th century
Weight 970 grams -height 14 cm - base width 18x15 cm - opening 12x9 cm
Beautiful oval shaped silver plated box with exquisite incisions across the entire surface. With small ring handles on both sides in lion mouths. It has likely been used as candy box, made in England, with silversmith trademark (TO&S) and EPBM abbreviation, along with silver mark with a uniquely shaped letter “S” which dates it back to the late 19th century.
The item is in good condition.
